The Walking Dead [SPOILERS]

Ugh. Good riddance to a terrible season, and good riddance to a terrible overarching plot. Hopefully now with a new showrunner next season we will see a return to the true Walking Dead. If not, I'm calling it quits.

True for many, sure. But this was the 1st season I myself completely disliked. It was simply not the same series. It was sub-par, half-assed writing, coupled with horrible CGI and terrible acting. NOT what the show used to be. They ended this storyline now, and hopefully with a new showrunner and a new refreshing storyline they will be able to recapture the show we once all enjoyed.

Why don't they just call it quits? The show had a good run but seriously, its time.
 
“The Walking Dead” Season 8 Finale Was the Least Watched Finale Since Season 1

On paper, this past Sunday’s Season 8 finale of “The Walking Dead” was one of the biggest in history, promising the epic finale to the years-long “all-out war” storyline that was being billed as a big time game-changer for the series. It seemed to be a must-watch episode, to say the least. Unfortunately for AMC, the ratings didn’t reflect that.

The numbers are in and “Wrath” was the least-watched finale of “The Walking Dead” since Season 1 back in 2010, when the show was just starting to grow its audience. The Season 8 finale pulled in 7.9 million viewers, down significantly (over 30%) from the 11.31 million viewers who tuned in for the Season 7 finale last year.

yip. probably the worst season for me. also this finale was crap. hopefully next season will be better or i am done with the show.

816. Enjoyed it. Eugene really showing his mettle. Rick showing proper leadership. Lots to take it. A number of story arcs closed as well. Interested to see the Maggie "we will show them" subplot.

Now the long wait for S9.
 
Ok. So I watched binge watched S8 last 3-4 eps

OMG. The ending sucked. Seriously. The whole Carl Wish Subplot is like ugh.. really. Now S9 is going to be more "drama" and infighting.

If I wanted to watch drama and backstabbing I would watch Days of our Lives etc.

So I assume Negan will play his roll in S9 (again).. and Maggie is going to other throw Rick. Boring AF.
 
Against my better judgement, the wife convinced me to finish the season... at least. The end of the Neegan arch was pathetic... it had such a good start to it, but the end was just terrible terrible terrible.

Nah, I'm done with the series. The last season was just terribad.

I enjoyed Fear the walking dead, especially with a Morgan crossover, but episode 3 just crapped all over that too. I think I'm done with zombies for a while.
