The wendy house lan :)

would rather go wireless. somehow lightning scares me too much. I'ld rather spend there extra few hundred than loose equipment. besides, then you'll have infrastructure for a future laptop.

The wendy house will not be used for p0rn, I promise. There's a pc and a printer and a desk and a chair. It will be a small office, just big enough for an uneducated staff member to work in :)

now what is the chance of that happening mmmmmmm>>>

Wireless also gives you greater flexibility when you want to expand your network into other areas of the house.

Also an excellent point, and one with which I'm inclined to side, too ..but moot if it's not something that's likely (enough) to happen for the case in point to be worth the significantly greater upfront cost of going wireless compared with the rather more trivial cost of a length of cable and connectors.

Of course there's also nothing to prevent the addition of the wireless component at a later stage.

Then again - my missus begins to worry every-time she catches me with a hammer drill and a 2 foot drill-bit :)
