You can buy ingredients but its better to collect them imho. Collect everything.
 
Have picked up a lot but also left a schit lot, getting on/ off the horse was getting a bit irritating. But will collect, think will walk from now on.
 
I don't think you have to collect everything, but WHEN you get off your horse, collect as much as you can in your immediate vicinity. Likewise, every time you see a new shrub you haven't got.
 
I still like The Elder Scrolls more.

Have not played in a long time, changed the botchling into a luberkin or whatever, fought off both sets ot wraiths and then the game crashed on me, went fsckit and went to the pub :D
 
Yeah...played for 40min or so yesterday and switched it off. Meh, weekend's problem.
 
I've been playing Witcher 3 for some time ... to give it a fair chance.

Witcher 3 doesn't enchant me like Skyrim and Oblivion did.
 
Anybody getting major fps drops with patch 1.06?

My fps went from the 50's to like 20!!!

Feck, nvidia or amd?

Just checked all my settings now again and they are as they were before. Tried different location as well. Where I use to get 68fps in wild orchard I only manage 20's now. Switching between low & ultra preset only yields like a 5fps diffrence and the gpu is always pegged at 99%.

I'm struggling with gear. I'm half way between lvl 5 and only have lvl 1 items and 2 lvl 2 items... it's my 1st time I play a game like this so I'm still noob. Any easy tips to get higher lvl gear?

Loot every container and body you can find. Diagrams enable craftsmen to create items for you, from the scraps you pick up, and sometimes you pick up an upgrade.
 
33% 93H10m I think I have gone a bit off track with this game, the side quests seem to become a bit repetitive which is making the game boring for me.
 
I have the saddlebags that let me carry 190 weight. I've not sold any of the expensive stuff I've collected, like demetrium ingots, flawless gems, gems and gem dust etc. I think I just might have more than 200000 gold worth of random stuff that I haven't sold.
