Speaking about this. They've place spotlight at the bottom of the iOS home screen where the home screen indicators reside. Hopefully this means the app library takes the place of the swipe down gesture. Having to scroll all the way to the end of the home screen pages to access it is just bad design.Haven't seen much talk about this, but the changes to Spotlight coming in Ventura look very nice, will probably convince me to get rid of Alfred.
Why wait. When’s the public beta out btw?![]()
A mate of mine tried installing the macOS Ventura developer beta but it konked out and he ended up doing a factory reset to get back to Monterey and spending hours reinstalling all his apps.
So I don't particularly recommend rushing in.
I installed it on Parallels for exactly that reason. It is still really buggy and I can't get GPU acceleration working on (it runs in safe mode).A mate of mine tried installing the macOS Ventura developer beta but it konked out and he ended up doing a factory reset to get back to Monterey and spending hours reinstalling all his apps.
