It’s my favourite time of the year. Anyone else excited for the WWDC keynote on Monday.

Very keen.

Hoping for a number of surprises.

Apple Fitness+ in SA.

I'm in the market for an iPad now, so hoping they have some exciting things planned for iPadOS, but will see. Also excited at the possibility of an M2 Air...that would be huge.

Apparently there’s a massive revamp for iPadOS 16 coming this year. So let’s wait and see.

I told myself. This year. I’m not installing the Betas.

I'd kill for Apple Fitness. Seems like total bs it isn't available worldwide when it's all original content produced by Apple and connects to tracking that's already available to everyone in the Apple Watch.

It works very well, used it a couple of weeks with an American gift credit card but the annoyance of needing to flip AppStore accounts to make it work every damn time is just too much.

Cancelled and loaded it on my Amazon account instead.

But would be first to sign up if it goes local.

What’s really kak though is that you can’t work out with more than one person connected at the same time in one household. Very simple to do so hoping they add that.

I'm hoping for 50GB default iCloud, wtf is 5GB even in 2020

And then 500GB for tier one subscription and then 2TB and 5TB options.

Any news on M1 Pro/Max/Ultra powered iMac? I need a new kitchen PC

Looking forward to the event, nothing specific on my wishlist but always interesting to see what new features are coming.

Just wish Apple would include some new normal and dynamic wallpapers for iOS, getting tired of those bubbles and static "black with the rainbow running through it" stuff, but those have been going on for years so chances are slim

Stop being so cheap.

The lowest package is a solid deal.
The amount of storage included with Apple One is pretty dumb though. 50GB is pathetic, hardly suitable for shared family space. If they aren't going to provide 1 or 2TB, at least make it 200GB.

I wouldn't mind killing my Dropbox subscription and shifting to iCloud, but the last time I tried it (when I first got a Mac last year) the upload speeds were so atrocious I cancelled the same day.

ICloud upload speeds are a fcking joke.

I have ICloud+, it's bad value in SA since most stuff isn't available and the space is limited, and the actual speed is horrid.

Then add to it the music app is buggy AF.

Seriously expected more of apple's software tbh.

But will see what tomorrow brings.

I’m hoping for a UI revamp.

We’ve been on the same style now for a good couple years since iOS 7 considering the original design language from iOS 1 - iOS 6 was relatively short lived.

Sad to hear that Apple hasn’t improved iCloud. I have Apple One and it’s unimpressive. Unless something cool is announced today I’ll cancel it.

iCloud: min storage, slow uploads
Music: lots of good ideas, but slow and buggy. I use Spotify 90+% of the time.
Arcade: mostly junk games. Sneaky Sasquatch was the only impressive one.
Apple TV+: this is good but it’s R85 pm by itself.
Fitness: not in SA for no good reason
News: also not in SA

If Apple Music wasn’t buggy as hell and Fitness was available, Apple One would be amazing.

The main reason I always switch back to Spotify is the recommendations and handoff between devices, i.e. using one device as a remote for other players. Not sure if this is a thing in AM yet
