The Xperia X1 Thread

What can I say??? This is just a amazing device.

I've installed TouchFLO3D on the Xperia just to see how it works and what it looks like. It's like having a Xperia and Touch PRO in one device. Yeah, I know, you can add the panels to the Touch PRO as well then you also have the two devices in one, but for the size and build quality I know the Xperia is the better device to have.

So far I can't complain about anything. I'll be putting it through a few tests until next week Tuesday. If I'm not satisfied or something is not working properly I can just swop it out for a new sealed unit on Wednesday.

For anyone who thought about getting the Xperia but wasn't sure about it, you won't be sorry.

Thanks. Time can go by so slowly sometimes.

Let us know what you thing when you start it up for the first time:D

The first boot takes a while because of the configuration and program installs. But after that if you do a soft reset (after installing a app that needs it) it goes very quick.

Certainly not what I would be doing - I'd have gone out to get and ask for some time off :D

Piesang, please make mention of all the stuff that comes in the box with the unit please?

Here you go:

Charger (USB)
USB to mini USB data Cable for syncing and charging
Stylus x 2 (One in the phone and one in the box)
A few manuals
CD-ROM
8GB microSD card installed in the phone
A huge 1500mah battery
And then off course the Stunning Xperia X1i

GPS performance? I've a friend who is looking at a Touch Diamond/HD or Omnia and dismissed the Xperia because it didn't seem to have maps on-board?

Nice - good to see 2xStylus.

Does the handset have it's own GPS or is it Garmin or something else?
