It's R15.55:US, so yes it's going down.

So to clarify, earlier when you said it was "going down" and it was R14.88 to the Dollar, you were in fact agreeing with my assessment that the rand would continue to weaken?

I would never have believed that we'd see r16 /$1 but it's approaching fast. 15.55 this morning
 
SARB is going to have to make some difficult decisions in 2016, maybe attempting to kill off the home loan before we hit that junk status might be a good idea...

Or at least try to fix the rate if you cant
 
Face it, we are doomed. I did my purchase 3 months ago for some samples. Dodged "a bullet" and got 13.65. In my worst scenario on my business plan I factored 14.50. How stupid am I.
Friend in manufacturing is also bitching about it. Guess it just means raising prices.

We working on R17 to the dollar for next year. The year thereafter R18 to the dollar. I hope that is sufficient. Its times like this I wish I had a little crystal ball.

Too conservative I would say. You need to be planning for much worse than that if it is to do with tight profit margins.
