I exchanged the last of my ZAR > GBP at around the R20 mark earlier this year thinking it was really high. Just to see its almost sitting at R23 today wtf

I've decided to start moving all my savings to a UK bank account, going forward - the Rand is loosing so much ground.

Fortunately, my wife has a UK bank account we use (Since she's a citizen)

Would invest it; but we do require immediate access to it - so I think it's probably the best route for now.

Agreed, same here. All cash now in various accounts across the US, UK and even a bit here in SA to survive on. Too much vulnerability across the globe to have money tied up in investments and losses keep increasing.
