You can't time the market though. I had to pay a bunch of deposits last week as well.
 
That's a stronger dollar. When stuff gets cheaper in dollar terms it means the dollar is stronger. I.e. $1 = €0.5 is stronger than $1 = €1

The US Dollar Index, also known as DXY, is used by traders seeking a measure of the value of USD against a basket of currencies used by US trade partners. The index will rise if the Dollar strengthens against these currencies and will fall if the Dollar weakens against these currencies
 
What happens now, nearly R16 to dollar, will it go sub 16?
And if so, for how long, or will a new round of LS end it's brief run...
 
The dollar is running rampant on just about anything, not just the rand.
