Their coverage seems to be expanding

Ill try go down plattekloof road again and see if they are still there or have done anything noticeable

I have not seen 'expanding' in Cape Town in the last 4 weeks, they said that they were going to 'rapidly expand' there network.

Perhaps their view of 'rapidly' and out view of rapidly mean different things?, their moving as fast as a Glacier.

I'm sure its the hoops they have to jump to, to get a tower installed. Not least of which is probably people complaining.

I have seen and heard of them in and around Cape Town, my mother has seen them working in Pinelands as well, with the "Neotel at work" signs.

Maybe some of you drive around with your eyes closed ;)

Nobody is contesting whether or not their working or not... but it seems like their doing a LOT of digging up in a LOT of different areas instead of showing a marked improval in any particular area.

And their complete lack to a commitment to any timeframe is frustrating to say the least...

+1

What I don’t get is the complete lack of interest, even after I “showed” them that I have good coverage in my area. If the coverage is not official according to their outdated map you get 0 response from them.

Neotel = Holes

according to their outdated map you get 0 response from them.

I could not agree more, i am in little old PE and as you guys were saying they have already dug up half of our city! Holes all over the place.
I phoned the customer (dont)care line 7 times to find out when they will actualy be available in PE, everytime it was the same "BS"!
Eventually i got so sick of it I phoned there head office. Just as bad.
I had to phone them 3 times before they would actually give me anyting useful!
Its great that competition is coming in, but i think the only saving grace Neotel has is that they are going to force Helkoms prices to drop!
