Nope - straight. My signal strength varies between 22% and 30%. I am quite close to the tower - less than a km as the crow flies. I still have a panel dish antenna from MegaWAN days, so I was thinking of getting that hooked up to see if it would make any difference. It was desperately expensive at the time too due to the distance from their base tower at the time.
