Thermal Paste Glue

If you have a Quad Processor = Wood glue and superglue work fine np, so does putting your computer in a basin full of water. If you have a Core2 duo or something else, don't do that. :p:D

You need thermal paste - not glue, you can probably order from sybaritic.co.za

I think he confuses himself sometimes...have you tried asking the guys at prophecy shop on the prophecy forum under product requests...im sure they'll be able to advise you.

What? You okes are metal.

You need thermal glue to attach heat spreaders to ram chips. How else do you make it stick?

What are you okes smoking?

Or u could use thermal tape/pads.. Not as good as thermal adhesive paste but works and is relatively easy to remove if the need arises unlike the adhesive..... lol one guy from another forum pulled his ram chip completely off the PCB while trying to remove the heatsink which he attached with thermal adhesive paste. Poor guy.

What I said and I just get called metal :(.

I used superglue on many electronic components for mounting alum heat-sinks effectively. Never tried on CPU or Graphic cards tho. Combined with normal thermal paste and just two drops of Superglue should do quiet fine for memory and graphic card chips.

Another supporter of Super Glue!
