Things that irritate you.....

The fact that Standard Bank doesn't want to increase my EFT limit without ALL the funds being in the account first.. Why would it make a difference to them? It's my account after all.

The f**k? So in order to increase to, e.g. R5000 you have to have R5000 in your account? That's a first for me.

yep.. so I have a balance at the moment equal to the limit.. i am also expecting my bonus and this month's salary.. so instead of increasing the limit for me today.. they want me to wait till i have the money in my account and then request the increase. :/

People in the office that do not know how to use Google. Must be a special kind of stupid. And they do work with a computer every day with Internet access.

Not to mention those that think that forums are replacements for Google.

This heatwave BS in Europe.

Thought I permanently got rid of 30+ temps by moving here. France has 40+...wtf thats just wrong.

People that never shower after a workout. Then they want a bro hug after that...... wtf?

Because elevator + walking beats just stairs for speed.

Elevators are wide enough for one side to stand and other to walk. Stand on the wrong side in London & you get shouted at. :o

*Puts on best British yobbo accent *
*Fsck off...!*
I would likely trip anyone that tries to push past me on an escalator :D

^^ This (second post) mentality is what irritates me more than anything else in this world. Why would someone deliberately block people who are in a hurry when letting them pass causes no inconvenience to them in any way (I'm thinking specifically of wide escalators which were designed for people to be able to pass)? On the roads in Cape Town, I also often get people driving waaaaay below the speed limit in the fast lane, with no traffic ahead and flow in the slow lane at the same speed.

I don't mind if you want to waste your days away on the road or the escalator, but some of us actually aspire to do things and go places, so go be slow in the designated lane, and stay out of our way, please.

People who ask for advice and then argue about it.
TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!! EK GEE NIE 'N DONNER OM NIE!!!!

Yes! I experienced something baffling earlier this week: someone asked me to edit a report as a favour, and then got upset/angry about my suggested changes because I "always criticise" her. :wtf:

Some are NOT that wide and you pushing past me is not on. You can wait for the 10 seconds it takes to the other side and believe it or not your life will go on. Otherwise you are welcome to take the stairs where you can sprint down unimpeded. When I'm by myself I'll stand to the side but when I'm with my family I'll stand bang in the middle.

I don't want some idiot bumping past me while me or the SO is carrying our little one in our arms.

I explicitly said, "I'm thinking specifically of wide escalators which were designed for people to be able to pass". In other words escalators which are wide enough such that, if you simply stand more or less to the left and are of reasonable proportions, I would be able to pass on the right with ease and without coming close to touching you.

If the escalator is narrow, I have no problem waiting.

Have they get the garden sprinklers out again? Those nuclear reactors have to be kept cool.
Apparently France set up cooled tents for the elderly in public. UK side the train announcers just keep saying carry water & if you must keel over do so on the station not the train.

If I get back to my (admittedly slightly dirty) car and someone has written "Please wash me" in the dust. Makes me the moer in.

When I get home from work and some &$*& is standing in my driveway waiting for me.

I bloody hate having pepple over as soon as I get home. No time to relax a bit.

Who be that? Surely you can tell them to come at a specific time?

Its an acquaintance who usually comes to ask me to help him sort out some problem with his PC. He knows around what time I get some.

So its one of those "Suprise, motherfscka" things.

I don't tell him to come back when he's already there because sometimes it takes only a couple of minutes to resolve, but still. On the flip side, he's a mechanic and I usually consult him with all my car issues.
