I have so many questions! If you overestimate the time needed to heat up or cook your food, you need to let it run all the way? What if someone turns it to the 60 min mark as a prank? Do you let it run down for an nearly an hour doing nothing just to use it to heat up your lukewarm coffee?

I love turning down the power to the lowest setting. People keep microwaving their stuff and can't figure why stuff don't get hot. :D

Ha. That, and experimenting with touch powder is on my list of things to do regarding office pranks
 
That is only in our building with the old school microwave. I make point of it to eat my lunch in the main building with a nice kitchen/eat area and proper microwave ovens/DStv. I hate the smell of home cooking being reheated, especially with a shopping mall less than 100m from us that sells hot meals - PnP or Woolies. For me R40 of PnP Meal of the Day hits the spot and it does not smell like dead sh/t

Mine climbs off the bed, walks around to my side, sticks her wet nose in my face and patiently waits for me to wake up.
 
Living in this ass-end country in your own place and realizing what an insane investment of time, money and frustration it takes to set up even the most rudimentary of home automation (proper internet, RGB lights, Electric Blinds etc.)
I have a lot of respect for other middle class folks who mange to do this locally without being able to just throw money at the problem.
Man, even living in the US earning Rands I would've been way better off.

+1 for BoB ....for some reason no-one at work uses them and I'm always surprised as to why.
Always had great experiences with BoB.

:D Ours does the same, except that she sits on the cushion almost on your head and stares down vertically at you until you do.
