someone introduces a new person to me....20 seconds later no idea of their name

I am quite sure it has already been posted, several times:

People who are on the take, often quite blatantly, as if it is their right to chisel an extra R10k or so out of you for no value received.

More and more of them this year, from building inspectors, the heritage society, garage mechanic, plumber, insurance assessor, painters

Does no one know what it is to "earn an honest living" any more? There always has to be some fiddle going on, whether it be threatening your builder for unnecessary plans, an alteration that was approved (and suddenly was not), replacing a car part with a second-hand one and charging for new...

What's wrong with Lego? Its educational, can be formed into amazing shapes. The only downside is if you step on a piece in the dark barefoot since the edges can be quite sharp

Haha yes. Attempts to swallow a 7 inch tablet is indeed cause for saying RIP.

nah...Nexus 7 2013...so was due for an upgrade anyway & not a major financial loss.
Still got it? Mine has a dodgy digitiser. Maybe I can swap parts ...

I have fond memories of my N7 2012 version when I first got it.

Then the Lollipop update was released and my love turned to hate. What a disaster of an update that turned out to be

Still got it? Mine has a dodgy digitiser. Maybe I can swap parts ...
Glass is cracked & its recognising phantom touches so pretty sure its a write-off.

Ok. Mine is still ok. I get phantom touches but then put it in standby, tap the lower left corner (can hear what sounds like a ribbon cable rattling), switch it on and it's fine for an hour. Takes a day to charge though.

As times get harder and the economy keeps crashing you are just going to see more of this.

Cyanogenmod really brings life to the Nexus tablets. It helped immensely on my Tilapia model (2012)

Whatsapp Web that seems to have bolded certain areas of the layout by itself.

Tried with a different browser, same issue. Can't say I feel it's a step forward in the overall design
