Why can't sick people learn to stay home until they're better? Noooo....they gotta drag their sick selves to the office and spend the day complaining and spreading it around :mad:

Ahh, the Protestant Work Ethic. Bloody bonkers.

If I am ill with some communicable disease, you can bet I'm not going to come in to the office to spread it around to parents with children.
 
Why the fsck do we still have to pay to use other banks ATMs? Surely it should cancel charges out if everyone uses everyone else's ATMs. It's law in many countries that banks have to have reciprocal arrangements and not charge other banks customers to withdraw cash from them. So why not with us. And why is it always other banks ATMs in places where you find yourself?

Of the 3 ATMs FNB has in central Hermanus, 2 are down. So I stood in a queue in the blazing sun for about 20 minutes this morning and just as it was the turn of the person before me, it flashed up an out of order sign.

Put the lid back on the superglue and it's sealed shut after a few weeks.
Leave the lid off and it's good to use after a few weeks.
(Yeah I know it should be in the fridge/freezer)
 
So-called quality control on some of the laptops I have to set up.

How does a laptop get the approval to be shipped if Windows 7 doesn't even have SP1 installed, nor wireless drivers, USB drivers, chipset software or even the correct keyboard layout?

What I cannot comprehend is the fact that someone looked at this laptop with all it's missing drivers and updates and said "That'll do, my job here is done"
 
Sites that use their own shÌtty video player instead of just using youtube.
 
You get you boarding pass, check in your luggage....and have to keep this small piece of paper with you for the next hour or so.

It gets worse...they tear off 75% of it off...Leaving this tiny piece. Then you have to keep this out so that you can get on the plane.

It gets worse...You still have to keep it because you need it the other end...Because ****tard has put luggage tags on this slip of paper , and you need it at the other end

I wish it was all just on the phone or something.
Haven't slept properly and jetlagged but now to keep track of bits of scrap-looking paper.
 
This freaking guy in CPT.
Pretends he's broken down and tries to get a lift or whatever his game is.

I was naive once and gave him a lift, he started crying in my car with a sob story.
I dropped him off and only had R20 on me, he wanted R50.
Dude gave me the evil eye and limped off.

I now see this guy everywhere at intersections in CPT.
He's just outside the office today.
Wish I had a paintpall gun.

Freaking guy.
 
You are waiting...Standing for 20 mins (and counting) on a packed to capacity bus as they have to drive you to the plane.The bus obviously has no A/C so after 20 minutes, it's getting pungent.

It gets worse....The plane happens to be parked, so far... It's In the centurion part of OR Tambo. So you spend another 15 minutes to drive to the plane...With a busfull of smelly passengers

why in all that is sacred's name would you use MSACCESS as a back end to your main application?

Arghhh.

The worst incidence happened to me just before Christmas now in Helsinki. It was below zero so everyone was packed onto the bus in massive coats hats scarfs etc, and we parked at the bottom of the plane stairs for about 20 minutes. The bus was jam packed and I'm standing right beside a heater blasting out sickly hot air. Man, how I never collapsed I don't know.

Depends when the app was made. But anything made in the last decade should rather use SQLite if database portability is a requirement.
