More alarmed than irritated:

Chrome helpfully autocompleted "su" to suicide for me. Zero idea why that would be stored in the browsers autocomplete. In general and/or for that site (linux isos) :erm::erm::erm:

They all get snapped up by other companies before we can even put in offers. So we couldn't even actually choose what we needed. It was filtered by HR and none actually met our requirements really. Sooo yeah

Junior Linux sys admin. I will say a lot of the applicants were chancers of note. So at least HR dropped those quickly, probably legit anything to do with IT might've been down to 200/250.
 
Amazon and their shtty integration of their services. Their stuff gets confused way too easily when transferring between regions

Good grief this is more than an irritation. We have this useless guy in our team and it has been going like that for a year now. The team lead has gotten complaints from various people that this guy does not deliver or carry his weight and every time they walk past he is busy with non work related things. Instead of getting rid of this tool the team lead just hides him in a corner where no one else can see what's on his screen.

Dammit man! We have a few folks pushing really hard to make our sprint commitments and they show up with me at 7am and work till after 4pm. Then you have people like that who shows up and 9 or later, does not do anything and buggers off at the same time as us.

I'd consider this guy abusing company property, by using company resources for non-work related items. Or highlight the fact in every standup and review that his story is not progressing.

Mates with the team lead. Can I get his job, I'll actually deliver. Sad when people like that has work and those who want to work are out of work.

Same here....except this doofus pitches up between 09h00-09h30 and leaves at 4pm
