Lip situation sorted

New annoyance - of the 3 Levi I bought in SA 2 shrunk. Really pissing me off with their sht...I've got like 5 pairs of exact same size and style codes and it's a complete mixed bag as to what fits.

Would be nice to walk in, say the code and size and walk out.
But no...first need to check them.
 
Telkom. Today marks 60 days of line being dead, and then they keep saying "we were closed over Christmas". Won't refund me the ~R1.5k for not using their services, though.

ICASA - Consumer complaints process
[This follows on from Consumer Complaints - A Guide.]

A complaint can be escalated to ICASA, by calling 011 566 3000, faxing 011 566 3004 or emailing [email protected]. A complaint will have to be filed in writing.

According to ICASA, receipt of the complaint will be acknowledged by the Consumer Affairs Division within 2 working days, providing a reference number and designating a responsible officer. The complaint will be forwarded to the service provider within 2 working days, with a response required within 14 working days. If the complainant is not satisfied with the response, the matter may be sent to the Complaints and Compliance Committee (CCC) for adjudication.

Gmail sync that has been offish lately.

Receive email on Gmail app on phone - open Gmail and delete email. Wait 5 seconds for the 'message deleted' popup to disappear - close Gmail. Open Gmail on PC hours later, the message still shows in my inbox and unread.

Or, open Gmail app on phone - open email, thus marking it as read, click 'Verify Account' (was a new signup), proceed with verifiication process - go back to Gmail app, delete email, open Gmail on PC many hours later and the email still shows in my inbox and unread.

WTF?
 
You tried to manually sync every time after changing something? That's what I do. Drag down and refresh just before closing. Always worked fine for me that way.

I've been having issues with syncing as well. Sometimes I just don't get the mail on my phone - I've opened up the app a few times and had new mail which I never got notifications for on my phone.

Same here. Another very strange thing that I have seen is that I will get the notification on my Mi Band 2 and my desktop, but not my phone. Only after I open Gmail on the phone and refresh does it show. But...the Mi Band pulls the notification from Gmail itself so how on earth does it get it but the app not?

@Toxxyc I have tried that but on occasion it doesn't seem to sync to my desktop or laptop. It's probably something on the phone that needs tweaking. I feel like a bloody beta tester at this stage
 
Having to retake the eye test when applying for a motorcycle learner's license. If you have a valid drivers license, it should suffice! Now I have to make a plan to be there at sparrow-fart to get in the queue early :mad:
