Things that irritate you.....

Being the last person to know that someone has left the company. I'm the fscking receptionist. Is there any possible reason I shouldn't be told? Perhaps I should stop at HR every morning and ask her if someone else left, so I can stop putting calls through to them :mad:

Ours was pissed because I didn't tell I her I was going on leave. So now I emailed her and went and told her I'll be gone by Friday.

Adding to that my 5c... Being in IT I need to co-ordinate mailbox additions/removals as well as the ordering of new software/hardware.

People always used to inform us at the 11th hour of new users coming, so can we order a laptop for said user? Nothing was said of software.

I eventually got the people to realize that that is a serious thing, and now HR inform us a month or so in advance of any new users coming in, as well as of any new software/hardware requirements.

But lately they always don't check whether we have the resources (money/finances) available to procure new laptops etc... :rolleyes:

And another thing that irritates me is that they expect me to work miracles, esp when a laptop dies of a coffee overdose. GRRRRRRR

I get irritated really quick at work.

Someone goes on leave? It's fine!
Someone leaves/gets fired? Great
Someone takes the day off? Perfect

I leave my desk for 5 min to go pee? NOPE NOPE NOPE!

driving at night seeing fairly new cars with only half of their rear or headlights working and/ or one head light is almost dead with the other one basically on brights:mad: ffs fix your lights, my car is 30 years old and everything works so what is your excuse??
 
Telkom... paid my account in full yet my adsl is still dead after 2 days. Bloody telephone is working perfectly though.
 
Colleagues that put their frozen lunch (in a sealed plastic container) in the microwave for 10 minutes.

And colleagues that spray out half the air freshener can after doing their business. Are they excreting toxic waste?

Especially if the food is some sort of animal organs, we got a character here at work who stocks the kitchen freezer of 2 weeks of of this lCAlC and warms it up everyday, the whole place stinks like a dirty nappy
 
We have people at work, who schedule their dumps for the afternoon (to get out of work). They sit on the toilet for over an hour, and the stench comes wafting down into the offices... there was a woman here yesterday she nearly hurled all over the kitchen when it hit her
