When I discuss presents with my vrau, she always says she doesn't want anything. 1 year I took her to her word.....and have never made that mistake again.

Goto woolies or something, get a card and flowers. I even got my vrau an Afrikaans card once as my local spar only stocked those, and I was desperate. Neither of us speaks a word of Afrikaans.
