Never asked them to take on the metered taxis but maybe not:

- have an app that forces to reorder an Uber from the same spot where the metered cab is waiting even after an emergency is declared by a driver;
- have one of the 4 security or driver to at least ask if she’s ok
- not force me to use another uber account to order from somewhere and then guide the driver by phone to have someone fetch her;
- make passengers walk in the street (especially women at night) to supposed safe and guarded spots which are absolutely not safe as proven twice in two days.

Their system is basically making it more dangerous for riders. Their PR answer is pathetic at best (we care, it’s concerning without one actual useful sentence).

It’s exactly what I pointed out to Uber, even after murders, their safe spot remain useless for passengers if the security is passive and complacent.

SO and the driver were followed from the safe spot by the metered cab and stopped by him in a small deserted street, he could perfectly have murdered them both there or burn the car... The security of Uber never reached once to her after the incident, she ran away and took refuge in a restaurant around the block.

Either they find a way to operate safely, either they stop operating from Gautrain, but right now they’re playing with riders and drivers lives.

Edit: the latest email with them suggests that they didn’t even contact the driver to have his version of the story. It’s how seriously they seem to take things.

When you have an appointment for your dog to be spayed...and she goes into heat 2 days before the appointment. Now it's moved out, yay, so we get to deal with bloody drips all over the place!

Didn't notice it but now I did. Got two of them since 1pm today.

It's thanks to the EU General Data Protection Regulation which becomes enforceable Friday.

Yeah over this already. Need to do couple of training modules on this too
 
Everything was going well after the transplant, perfect temperature, not too tired.

Comes 9pm tonight, high fevers starting, bone pains, pains in the mouth, tongue, trachea and ears.

Waiting for the blood results and on an army of antibiotics in the meanwhile.

Ey? Apologies, my wording wasn't great - the irritation was with friends that judge our meals, not with the food shows themselves. Although I do watch a few of them now and then.

When you bring lunch to work to eat healthier and save money, eat the lunch at like 9 in the morning, then go out to McDs around 1.
