We said "Au Revoir" to an awesome friend and colleague today, virtually.

He is based in another part of the country and had to cancel a trip to Joburg because of Covid-19. Microsoft Teams made it possible for around 9 of us to do this. While it is an immensely sad moment for us all for him to go, MS Teams helped ease the pain a little. A toast with a glass in hand, many laughs and there it is.

We had a company roadmap meeting this afternoon on Zoom. There was about 160 folks present and when the serious business was over, with some time left, inevitably people started to talk of the current situation. The CEO lives in America and was talking about something Trump said about masks... so I donned my Russian gasmask - how the whole company saw that from 160 participants I don't know. But they all had a good laugh at that on this pseudo Friday afternoon.

Are you high on crack? That president (I refuse to call him our president because he ain't no president of mine) let people like Cele uncheck while his police force assaults people. That president allowed billions to be flushed down black hole SEOs. Now that president is shutting down the economy. The only thing you get more of after this lockdown is price increases. That president is a farce.

Anyways, onto more pleasing things, I forgot how overclockable the old Athlon II was. On stock cooler and voltage I got 600+ Mhz extra out.
