Things that please you...

R.I.P buddy.

Passed away yesterday. Hurts so damn much. :crying:
Sorry man :( yeah it does hurt quite a bit.
Mine died 3 weeks before his 17th shortly after we had to put down our Boston due to Cancer, it's been 3 years but still hurts.

I have found voice notes from my dad who recently passed. Very happy that technology has provided me in a way to always hear my dad when I need it.
Hey man, ai, yes, that is a tough one. Good for you that you can listen to the voice notes/videos, etc.

I came across a video on my phone the other day of my mother and me giving my father a birthday gift. In one instance, I saw what video it was and I paused and muted it instantly.

I have not heard my mother's voice since she passed away in 2022, by choice. I have also not heard my father's voice since he passed away in 2024, by choice.

And that one video had both of them in it at their happiest time of their lives. It is unreal.

Stay strong, the pain never goes away, you just learn to deal with and manage it. Good luck.

Yoh, 17. Yeah can imagine it's gonna hurt for years. This one got to the point where he didn't want to eat. Took him to the vet and he started to suffer from multiple organ failures. All due to old age. It was just his time.

And he was a pug, so the house is super quiet now. No more pug noises haha.

Anyway, to stay on topic, it pleases me that he brought me 13/14 years of joy. Of all the pets I've ever had, he was with me the longest.

Yup they do give a lot of joy. But a few months after he left, someone wanted to get rid or put down this gorgeous shepherd dog. My wife has always wanted a big dog so she said okay bring her here as the house was quiet.
So Lady arrived and we've had her just under 3 years. Than someone left a tiny little puppy outside the gate a few months after that, tiny thing only about 5 weeks old.
Lady actually started lactating to help feed him. That tiny thing is now 36kg :)
Will never replace Whisky, but they bring different new joy. 1328134438.jpg1965366631.jpg
