Got a letter from my (European) ISP:

Sorry we are going to have to upgrade you from 50mbps to 100mbps at a 10% cost increase. The underlying infrastructure provider decided they're no longer doing 50mbps. So we have no choice but to force you to 100mbps. You can sign a 12 month contract now to avoid the 10% for another year though.

As a South African...fkin lol.

The (euro) locals have no fkin clue what they're doing when it comes to pricing SA wine.

Pleasant surprises.
Had a really good experience at the Petervale clinic.
Storks Nest in Sunninghill have been messing around recently. You have an appointment, pitch on time, get left in that room for an hour, then maybe someone attends to you.
Took our little one for their vacs at the free clinic in Petervale - made an appointment beforehand, got there and was a little unsure of where to go, guy helped us out, went in exactly 3 minutes after our allotted time. Out maybe 5 minutes later.
Tip - if you do go make a booking. Most people just pitch and wait their turn but if you've booked you get bumped to the front

I handed in my letter of resignation yesterday. While I am sad for leaving my current company and all the great people I have met, the fact that I am moving industries has me very excited right now. New challenges await!
