Did not expect this at all. Anyway, I have a tracking unit in my wife's car that I use for testing as part of my job. I had one in my Corsa but left it in the car when I sold it and have not got round to fitting one in the Pug.

Long story short I loaded dodgy config to the unit over the air and kinda broke the settings for the GSM modem - so I have to resort to a code plug. Oh, the unit also does not shutdown so it's a matter of time before the car battery dies and I have a very angry wife. Only thing is I have never bothered to find the plug socket but I know the unit and plug lead is somewhere in the dash. I take out the cubby and image my surprise when I see as part of the way the cubby was molded it has a hole for a code plug reader!!!

Really made my night and now I can rest assured future cock-ups can be fixed without having to take out bits of the dash













Guess you have to be in the situation for this to please you - but I'm stoked!
