Things that please you...

While it was good to see the Boks do one over the All Blacks in their own back yard, today's '"things that please me" thing was doing some time with the family at Scopex at the Museum of Military History. The entrance fee was reasonable. We took in our own lunch and enjoyed it there.

Time with the family is always a precious thing. We only have 18 summers with our young ones before varsity or they may find their own way. This is the time for building strong foundations, family ties and memories that may last a lifetime.

Seeing a taxi driver being refused permission to force at the front of the queue. As everyone lines up at a toll gate, he decides to speed up all the way up to front and try to force in, but no one would have it and was forced to the back of the line even behind people who arrived after him.

Justice! :)

Landlord a lady by any chance?

A company.

I suspect that some of the units were rented cheaper (I was one of the first) afterwards and that to simplify their admin, they've aligned everybody on the same price.

Won't go and query if it isn't a mistake though...

Reading the Berserk manga. It also saddens me that I'll be up to date and will have to endure months long wait for new chapters.

Long weekend ahead for me, road trip to Uniondale, K2C, 12th wedding anniversary, car got cleaned for the first time in ages.

It's pretty dirty now, rode to Calitzdorp. However it is nice getting into a clean car at the start of a road trip. Really could have done with a nice 607 though, the Astra is too small and slow.

Week end chilling and resting at home for me. I need exactly that, since end of july, I've been home on average two days a week.

Acrobat Reader DC. Specifically, its ability to recognize and allow you to complete even scanned forms. Even better than Foxit. Thanks to the jackboots at IT, my admin rights got rescinded and I'm loathe to motivate for restoration so can't install my own programs anymore, but this DC is awesome at how it can tell that this is a form and tabs precisely.

MPC-BE

Lovely piece of software, always works and always does what you want, got Level1 Tech in a little always on top window, nothing amazing but anyway.
