@f2wohf I hope she did say yes - at least you know she is thinking along those lines. So Congratulations. You took a risk and it seems to have paid off.

She didn't say yes and I knew she wouldn't say yes right away - because of all the logistics (moving back, kids...) - and I said I'm fine with that, that I know it might take 6 months to sort.

She said she planned on staying single but that Saturday night changed her mind.

Just got a message that she thought of me the whole morning and that we need to meet.

Fingers crossed...

So tomorrow, my life will change.

For good or for bad - but it won't be the same whatever happens.

I have an appointment with my oncologist for the scanner results and right after lunch with her for the big talk.

She's hinted that I musn't stress so I guess it's yes with conditions and to iron out things.
 
This time of year on the daily commute - not too dark, not too hot - a rather pleasing experience. Add to that it's Friday so I'm even more pleased by riding this 15 year old brown beauty :p

So new enlarging lymph nodes, probably reactive ones and not cancerous but I still need to do a biopsy on Monday.

Delayed the lunch for the talk.

Biopsy wow. Well hopefully they find out why. Could just be an infection.

I can imagine. But often these things are not serious. My mom has had several biopsies and except for a few on her face - she is fine. She has had the cancerous ones removed. So I will hold thumbs for you.

Well, they’ve been here since December though and I’m quite tired recently so I’m really 50/50 on it.

Anyway, I guess I just have to wait.
