Things that please you...

Good for you. Contracts are a waste of money.
I took this one out so that I could give the handset to my mom (Vodafone Smart Platinum 7). Hers was just about at the end of its tether, and the contract was good value at the time.

The handset still works fine, so I won't be renewing. I may be making a switch to Telkom Mobile, but I still need to view the details and weigh up the options.

That was really nice of you. I am also looking at Telkom as Mtn data is way more expensive. But I currently convert airtime to data on their specials and sometimes you really get a good deal. Problem is they only last for 7 days. So you have to make sure you don't get tempted to buy too much.

Did you notice, or is it just me, when you run out of data they'll send you a quick offer via a ussd popup that is sometimes absolutely atrocious value, like R3 for 7mb or something.

Don't go to TM, since they've started using Vodacom as their roaming partner they suck. Same as when FNB started as well.

Thanks for the warning. I go to remote areas where Vodacom signal is iffy.

In contrast to our area where Vodacom is the only network you can use in iffy areas. I hope I am not stuck with them because of that :(

Have you tried using afrihost data on your MTN account? Works pretty well for me and much cheaper than MTN data.

I think I might do this.

Going to try grab an MTN SIM and port my number this weekend. my current VC SIM is so old, my data speeds only go up to HSDPA speed due to it being an old 32k SIM. Showing my age here...

An ice cold Milo box.

I tried one the other day, and I can only describe the taste as cold flour at best.

Maybe this is my nostalgia talking but when I had one last it actually tasted like chocolate malt and not the bottom of a refrigerated pizza slice

I was just about to say that the new Milo sucks, it tastes like old flour and not the chocolatey malty goodness I'm used to. It tastes like drink-o-pop chocolate now

@Rouxenator comment on Juliet's 3-Series video

She's so cool about it all - such an awesome person to interact with - pleased me so much.

Really hope us rainwear folk can get her to wearing it more - cause I already love her videos.

Just a little more now.

Edit : Yes we did send her that one. Came from PVC-U-Like - they supply PVC to some of the biggest names of the industry. Gary is a good friend of ours actually.
