Things that please you...

Watching a taxi half mount a pavment to skip the queue of cars to get through an intersection and "bang!" goes the shitstains front tyre. To bad it wasn't his head exploding.

We had an epic venture last weekend to the Kruger National Park. It really is my happy space. It is a place where I can relax and enjoy quality time with my family.

We stayed outside of the park (Selati 103); this is a place we usually stay, as it is 3km from the Malelane gate. So convenient, and really comfortable. Well recommended if you are accessing the KNP from the south of the park.

The park itself was one of our best experiences. Great and small, the sightings were amazing.

- Martial eagle: drinking from a waterhole
- Pearl-spotted owlet: perched on top of a small dead tree
- Cheetah: a pair spotted two days in a row
- Dwarf mongoose: outside of their "lair"
- Leopard: walking over a road and into the bush
- Leopard: up a tree with impala kill
- Jackal: fleeting and on the move
- Leopard tortoise: on the move into the bush
- so many different bird species
- Wild Dog: on the move (two days in a row)
- Impala: so many different sightings, I love them all, even if they are most prolific of antelope
- Buffalo: one decent herd of +/- 250 on our last day
- Giraffe: one of them gently walking down the middle of the road for 10 minutes and no cars could pass

...and so many other amazing experiences.

On the morning we were leaving, I had a quick trip into the park; just me and my children. They wanted to do this. No pre-booking. Just rock up at 06.00am and go in. The first time we have done this. No amazing sightings. But quality time with my children.

I am blessed!!!

PS. Big shout out to the KNP staff. They were amazing. The Park Shops in different camps (Skukuza, Crocodile Bridge) were reasonably priced and generally we were happy with their service.

I just searched for this thread to post that I am a domain hoarder (it pleases me). I collect them like people collect stamps or coins.

However one of my domains is up for renewal but I'm going to let go. I am sure in another timeline it was very successful. (So now I will go have to post in the what irritates me thread!)

RIP

What’s the most you’ve made so far in a single domain sale?

I don't hoard to resell. I like to start projects. The domain I was talking about was the domain name for a cashless point of sale system. I used it to demo the app.

Won R300 at the Carousel couple of years ago. (when it was still safe to go there at night)

Blew some of it on burgers and food for the three of us who went for a night out, can't recall what I did with the rest.

Having whatever cereal I want whenever I want as much as I want and where and how I want.

Get a big bowl of Oates and Coco pops, mix 1 - 1 with sugar and half a liter of mil, sit down on the carpet and load Cartoon Network compilations on YouTube.
