Things that please you...

Cannot the antenna all be vertical? It would look less like a 4-legged insect then
These have "stops" or "clicks" at 0, 45 and 90 degrees. When I still used this router back home (got it in 2016 for VDSL) I soon found the best Wi-Fi coverage was when they were angled like that. I think it has something to do with how it then penetrates walls?

Pretty impressed that Asus still pushes firmware updates for these. Been using it on fibre since 2018 and last year I got a AX router at home so the old AC can now chill as an insect on the wall over here by the seaside :giggle:

Doing pretty good in terms of backing up my NAS back home to a PC on this side. Many more days to go before we reach 10TB.

Pool looking good after a week of trying to recover 17 days of inconsistent pool pump usage. Plus last week after the lightning hit my tree the pool just went green again. But now it's crystal clear again.

The Grip series of screwdrivers and bits and things

I've been using them for my own reward system for things I need to do

Got a bunch now, absolutely love them.

The best thing I did with my router is attach it to the ceiling. Now it looks like a Tarantula about to drop onto the desk

The wi-fi (2.4GHz) reaches my neighbour some 25m and 2 walls away. For the house, I fitted a Ubiquiti AP

Found the lost PicQuic that went missing in September/October.

It somehow* ended up between a few scrap pieces of wood in the corner of the garage.

*It was totally me that left it there.

Sorry to hear that, sepsis is a bugger. Do you think he got it in hospital?

Why was he in hospital in the first place (if you don't mind sharing)?

Most likely as it’s reoccurrence in the same area.

As for why he was admitted .. He had a mass in his intestines they wanted to remove. Wasn’t cancer luckily. Seems to have caused an avalanche of other issues since then though.

:(

Same thing happened to my brother in law. Went in for an op on his ankle and developed sepsis.

Can't believe I got this monitor basically at the start of lockdown
245 days of on time over the 1342 days I've had it.
