The fact that I am done with the sale and packing of my father's house, he passed away in July 2024. This week I handed over the keys, and I am out of there. Done, finish en klaar.

Feels like a mountain off my shoulders. I procrastinated like a mofo with the final packing up of everything. But it's over now.

Without even knowing it existed, I've managed to arrange that we will be present at the opening parade of the 2nd biggest carnival in the world. This is going to be epic.

Our two sons smiles...

The 4 1/2 year old looks like he is being forced to smile by putting fish hooks in the corner of his mouth and a rubber band connecting them around the back of his head.
the 9 1/2 month old has 3 lower teeth and his 2 upper lateral incisors or canines so when he laughs I have to laugh because he looks like he has a passion gap.

Don't know if it's an irritation or a pleasure, but buying a complete tap was half the price of just the tap head part.
So buy the full tap set, remove that center head part, hey presto.

Manufacturer of the adapter for my car charger that failed says it's a known fault and Is sending me a replacement control board and button housing free of charge

And I can work around the fault until the new part arrives, with a 20p resistor.

I had a similar experience a while back. Wife dropped something in the washbasin in the bathroom and chipped the surface. I googled repair services and got quotes of about £150 to repair the chip/crack.
I called a plumber and asked how much to replace the entire basin. £90 all in .
