Things to do in Gauteng

Quite geeky. Normal guys, really.

I want to do that tour, but it's the whole day. Doesn't it get boring? SO loves trains.

I would not do steam trains after the last experience I had. The Trains look awesome, they sound amazing but there were so many delays on the rails. The train had to stop on several occasions and they had to get an all clear via radio. Eventually the train ran out of water, so no steam meant we were stuck on the tracks, just before midnight. Some people called their friends so that they could transport people with cars to the train station so that those people could come back to the train to transport more people. The train broke down in the middle of nowhere, so people had a hard time finding the train's location.

Everyone had to get out on the tracks and had to climb through a hole in the wall to get to the street where we could be picked up.

I heard from a colleague about the place. Will defo go check it out asap! Is it really busy? I can imagine the novelty right now.

Like the Magnum shop at Rosebank...when that opened it there was a massive queue to get in >.< Still haven't got mah damn icecream!

Still want to go try Bounce. Laser tag is fun with friends. Shooting 7 year olds is very satisfying for some reason. If you and some friends go to a much later game (22:00) it could be real fun. Monte.

Thanks Hamster. I've heard of it many years ago, but never went. Will definitely have a go at it.
