Things to do when your cap runs out

This might be somewhat off-topic, but isn't it possible to access international with local-only bandwidth through some kind of VPN service?

We had quite a few of those type of services back in the day... all of them died out afaik. Luckily openweb launched this: http://www.openweb.co.za/openbrowse.php

Maybe not 100% uncapped, but better than nothing. ;)

Slightly off-topic but still relevant nonetheless:

All firefox users, install the addon called Flagfox which puts a little flag which represents the country where the current websites' server is located i.e. where it's hosted. It's a nice quick way to spot sites that will be accessible on local only.

i have flagfox and that is how i found out about www.metacafe.com.

Excellent, thank you!

Sick!! Matacafe works locally!!!!!

not completely unfortunately, some vids dont show and the metacafe app does not work locally :(, im thinking this is a case of only the most vids watched by us in sa working, that said though still awesome

Are there any World of Warcraft Local Servers??

Yes. A lot of unofficial ones where apparently (or so I've heard) there are no duplicate cd-key issues... but along with that comes crappy game play due to "out-of-bound" errors :D

That's weird. They all work just fine for me.
