Thinking of getting Aerosat internet?

We own a guesthouse and decided to sign with Aerosat after receiving a large bill from Telkom for our ADSL as we had exceeded our cap and. This was due to our guests using Skype video and downloading. So when I heard of the uncapped line Aerosat offered I thought this would be brilliant as it would be one set amount and no surprises at the end of the month and no more dealing with Telkom. But since joining with Aerosat I have had endless problems, often there is no connection and when there is its really not that fast and have also found that some sites are blocked namely the ones which allow you to download, Skype video is no existent and don’t even dream of downloading torrents.

The "aero" and the "sat" should have given you a clue....2 x "fail". And be advised that posting your cellphone number on a public forum is asking for @#$%!

Its been 4 days now and still no internet. When i call them they just tell me they’re working on the problem. And i bet ill still get my account at the end of the month for the full amount.

aaaah, had the mistake of using them 2 years back, sounds like there service is just as sh*t as it used to be....

i can only recommend cancelling and getting away from them....
They are one of the most devious underhanded companies in the whole of Port Elizabeth.
The day I hear they have gone under i will have a big party...
