Why would you sell all of your other kit like the Hard drives and the screen?
I can imagine getting rid of video cards and the like to upgrade, but the less you sell the less you need to replace and that makes your upgrade cheaper.
I could be wrong but thats my logic!

I want to consolidate the drives into 2x500GB and a mirrored 80's for OS. The screen needs to be bigger as well and my poor old Sony projector from 1997 is dying on me.

Very nice system, unfortunately i dont think it will be worth selling there is aot of new powerful hardware going for very good prices(ie 8800gt,e2180 etc.) maybe try get another 6 months out of it? Having said that you could get quite a bit for your LCD..
