How will they comepete with DSTV if they cannot use the same decoder? I don't think anyone really wants to watch TV on their phones.

...and Telkom are in cloud cuckoo land if they think the internet will be an alternative.

Hmm, interestingly enough. Has anyone noticed that their website has now changed and they are *apparently* offering services? Just noticed it this morning after again seeing a GTS vehicle in the neighbourhood.

Wonder if they are actually going to come to something finally?

Does anyone know any concrete information about GTS and service delivery? I know nothing about them but I do know this government; GTS could be a victim, or it could be a scam. More facts would be nice.

I recently heard that GTS also blame Telkom for their own non-delivery. May be so / maybe not ? Why hide in the dark? Come out and tell people what is happening and why.

Surely a pitty these guys feel absolute no obligation to clarify their non-deliverance on their much-hyped promises..

At this stage they still seem to have very little credibility. Ex-politician in charge there u think ?

Ja, that is very interesting, isn't MyADSL going to do an article on this? They have apparently made their service commercial, of course the hype was utter crap.

They promised 10mb/s was it? Their service is a plain 512kb offering, and the prices are okay, but nothing special.

R500 for 5GB service (total cost and including the modem free) and R70 per extra gig. Not bad really... but is there any future for them?

Hmm what is nice is the dial up speed throttling, all packages are soft capped, always nice.
