This is how Telkom is changing

Working slowly.... eish 10+ years and you can't even upgrade us from 4mbps to something decent ?

Logged the fault on Tuesday, got a call Wednesday morning asking if I need a techie and I said yes. Still waiting for a techie.

Talk is cheap and all this guy has ever done since he got there is talk , nothing has got better .
 
If this turnaround is complete, I'm truly scared for Telkom and us

I tried to buy a mobile phone online.

  1. Had to fill in the form twice.
  2. I've twice waited over an hour on the phone
  3. Filled in the form an additional time online (took about 45 minutes)
  4. Over 20 tweets (most of them the same robotic answer) over two weeks
  5. Two SMS's to say I would get the phone in 5-7 days (a few days apart from each other and more than a week ago)

That happened with me, eventually just cancelled it all and went prepaid. Same thing with my wife, wanted to renew her contract as we were in the shop, they wanted all the proof documents again as if it was a new contract, not one she's had with them for four years. Wanted to cancel, have to fill in a form at the store, wait for a while to do so, want to upgrade in store, actually want to do anything you have to go in store.
This is the 21st century and you cannot deal with Telkom online or over the phone for their products, while I was inline to cancel there was a gentleman in front of me, all he wanted to do was replace the faulty modem they gave him, three hour wait for that.
