This is what is destroying Eskom

A toxic mix of poor maintenance, a lack of skills, a shortage of spares, and poor leadership with the wrong people in critical positions are behind the worsening load-shedding in South Africa.

This year, South Africa has experienced the worst load-shedding ever, with regular power cuts across the country.

But quick! Send another half trillion their way!

Lets just increase the cost to the consumer by 32% plus as we are useless! Hey, with this increase we can build that entertainment area, pool, flat for gogo and we still don't have to generate sufficient electricity for the next twenty years!
I remember laughing at the state of Zimbabwe;s electricity, well, hello, here we are!

Unfortunately the more loadshedding we experience, the higher the chance of loadshedding later on...

The ANC don't care. Not one bit. If they cared, even just a little, Eskom would have lost its monopoly a decade ago and they would have rapidly onboarded IPPs.

Load shedding started in 2008. Had Eskom lost its monopoly then due to abysmally failing in their mandate, we could have had a flourishing privatized power industry with competitive pricing. That's good for everyone, EXCEPT the ANC who's looting and corruption would have been brought to a standstill.

The majority will get the leadership it deserves. Isn't democracy a wonderful thing!

The cANCer cares very much about Eskom.

Just think of all the BBBBBBBEEEEEEE deals in the supply chains and transportation of coal that fill all the various cANCer pockets and you will understand.
