Probably being used by only a handful of people for the wrong (political) reasons. Really though we should just have affordable data.

Dunno. Only thing I can think of is posting something on twitter and downloading it. So people without airtime were basically using it as a sharing platform. Not what I'd call tunneling.
 
Twitter is to share random rambling utterances you dare not say in person, oh lets not forget sharing images what you are having for dinner, lunch and breakfast.Personally I never got carried away by social media, not sure why any one would want to share that new pimple on your left butt cheek that looks a little like Robert De Niro

Only us old "twittering twats" of fogies still on Twitter. And faux revolutionaries, of course.

Insta who? I have never seen the instagram website, I don't even know what the layout looks like, I have been on imgur, as I host a lot of images for my game dev, but that is work related.

The only two "social" websites I actively use are imgur and youtube and that is mostly work related, if I have some month end data cap to burn I will visit them.I hate social media with a passion, if I get birthday wishes via social media I flatly ignore them, you phone a person for his/her birthday, the end , period. That said I do have a facebook and twitter account but use it only to contact company reps, and facebook messenger so grandma can video chat with the kids, I think the last facebook email had me at 600 odd notifications, most of it is the same old gullible carp getting shared.

Really don't get the whole social malarkey, if I want to speak to some one I pick up the phone and call them, if I want to moer some one, I take an actual PS/2 keyboard from the moer bin and drive over to the persons home and smack them over the head.Didn't like the neighbors kids settled it in the veld further down the street, throwing clay lat and rocks and that is how you unfriended some one in my day.
 
Free Twitter for subscribers using MTN apps??? I though that MTN would want to attract new subscribers, not offend and drive them away.

Wait, what you get free 2 year old memes on twitter, that is what 4chan is for get it as fresh as possible, yes you have to pay for it, by the time it has trickled down to twitter, it old news. I finally figured out why MTN stopped free twitter, is because people like your self rely on it to get old memes.

*Shakes head* *shudder* use twitter for memes, that is like asking a pirate with a hook hand to apply hemorrhoid cream...learn some thing new, memes on twitter......blegh!Do you read fake news websites and share every facebook post. ?
