EVIL FORCES BLAMED FOR STUDENT SEIZURES

Fear and confusion have gripped the small village of Leshibitse in Kgatleng following bizarre incidents of seizure attacks on several primary school students recently.

Last Saturday village authorities sought some spiritual intervention as they invited different churches for prayers at the village kgotla, but more students continued to collapse in the attacks that are believed to be the works of evil forces.

Village Chief, Albert Moitoi, said the troubles bedeviling his village started recently when, on separate incidents, parents approached him complaining of the strange attacks on their children.

“Several parents came to see me complaining that their kids were having seizures. I visited one of the families and saw a troubled young girl going through the ordeal.

I made an arrangement with the concerned families so that we could invite churches for prayers.

Last weekend we invited the ZCC and African Holiness churches and the prayers started at 10pm till 7am on Sunday.

But on Monday another young girl collapsed and when I heard about the incident I went to the school and picked her up and took her to the hospital,” he said.

As if narrating scenes from a horror movie, Kgosi Moitoi said the affected students had told him that they had seen a small hairy, but human like creature.

“One of the students said the creature grabbed and held her down for some seconds before it left her lying down and walked towards the classrooms.

The creature was said to have then split into two parts with one part getting into a Standard 3 classroom while the other got into the nearby Standard 4 classroom.

Most of the victims are said to be girls,” the chief said.

Moitoi said about twenty parents had threatened to have their children transferred to other schools if the problem persisted.

A grandmother to one of the victims, Ope Molefhe (69), said she was worried that the creature may strangle her 9-year old granddaughter to death.

“She has been attacked several times now and although we never get to see the creature, she fights so hard to get out of its grip.

When this creature strikes, the kid struggles trying to get it off her neck.

When it finally lets go of her she screams pointing to its direction, but she’ll be the only one that sees it.

She’ll be trying to fight it back as she struggles. We’re in trouble and we really need prayers,” she said.

After her granddaughter was attacked on Monday, Molefhe said she was too scared to go to school the following day.

“I just told her to stay home so she could get relieved of the traumatic experience,” she said.

Traditional healer and preacher, Gopolang Nkalolang (33) blamed the attacks on new churches that he said were trying to recruit new members by casting evil spells on them so that they could seek help in the churches.

“I personally don’t believe it is a thokolosi. There is a religious war going on.

The so called ‘fire’ churches that are influenced by the spirit of the anti-christ are trying to recruit new members and they use their satanic powers to make people suffer so that they become desperate and go to their churches for help.

I attended to three victims recently who were suffering from the attacks and I told them the same thing.

I was in Kimberly recently and such churches have been chased from the area because they confuse people and take advantage of their desperation,” he charged.

Nkalolang said he did not attend the prayer night over the weekend as, he said, it was useless.

“The problem is at the school. That is where we should have gone to pitch our prayers instead of the kgotla, but when we got there we found the gate closed and the security guard had been instructed to keep us away,” he added.

Despite the overwhelming testimonies by the villagers Leshibitse Primary School head, Segaetsho denied that the students were experiencing any attacks. “This is all news to us. We’ve never experienced anything out of the ordinary in the school,” she said.

The people in that article, especially traditional healer and preacher Gopolang Nkalolang, are living, walking, contradictions. Then again, aren't most believers?

Remember the village that was terrorised after the pastor was killed for having sex with the village woman with a magic penis. As an act of revenge his wife turned into a snail and went on the rampage terrorising the entire village.

This seems like yet another case of village lunacy involving spells and crap.
 
May as well go and read "War & Peace" while we wait with bated breath for the answer.

Best download a copy of "The English Patient" to watch after i finish reading !
