IF only I knew what the procedure is for when one encounters this IE what commands I can run to get data back to understand where the hiccup can be and then take it from there, however since I get the same issue on 4 different spanking new distro's I assume it is safe to say I must open up a support ticket, don't want to bother them unnecessarily.

Still not.

I did:

sudo vim /etc/gai.conf

uncommented the following:

precedence ::ffff:0:0/96  100

write and quit:

:wq

Rebooted.

Tried apt-get update -> Still the same problem

Then I did this:

vim /etc/sysctl.conf

added

net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 
net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1

then ran

cat /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6

I then got a 0 so I decided to go persintent

sysctl -p

I got this in the terminal

net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 
net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1

I then ran it again and got 1

Tried apt-get update again

same issue

I thought about it, but rather not. I learned my lesson IE DO NOT post serer info on a public forum.

There are bots everywhere. Looking for different holes everywhere. Don't assume it was a forumite. As soon as a server comes up its vulnerable.

And most of the forumites are fake evil, not real evil.

I am used to apache so I think somewhere I have an error.

When I run it it seems the following happens:




I think it is becuase the bash script doesnt add phpinfo but to be honest I am in the dark I searched and mish mush a file together, but now I need the trained commits from the public.
