Looks like most of today's SUV's. SoullessSaw the new Jolion on the road and it looks quite nice.
Also seems pretty well priced compared to other vehicles in the same class.
It looks way bigger than the other competitors in the same class and also price wise.If I had the money, that is the car I would buy right now. Much bigger than its competitors, and much better specifications. There is a guy in Pretoria on YouTube who owns an H2, and he took the Jolion on a test drive to compare it, and posted three videos about his experience. Apparently much less turbo lag than on his H2, and the 7 speed DCT is very smooth. Overall it sounds like a solid, comfortable ride.
Haval sold over 700 Jolions in May, so it was one of the top vehicles sold in SA last month.
I think the biggest drawback is just the fuel consumption, that is one of the aspects where they still need to catch up to their competitors. But there are lots and lots of positive aspects that make up for that.
My local branch had two on display at the mall a few weekends ago, it was locked so I couldn't check it out inside, but it looks quite good in the flesh, and actually bigger than what one expects.
lol, i had forgotten that half their lineup was suzukiIts pretty good, toyota might actually be scared for once. They might have to make new cars and stop selling suzuki's lol
The Jolion might be using a slightly modified and rebranded 1NZ-FTE.Its pretty good, toyota might actually be scared for once. They might have to make new cars and stop selling suzuki's lol
They are ruffling a few feathers in the mainstream manufacturers cabal. Selling more cars than Renault, Nissan, Kia, Honda, Opel, Peugeot and Mazda, that's quite a way to announce that they have indeed arrived. The Jolion for what is it, is a good buy and well specd even in the base model.
I am loving the new Haval H6.
The chinese are really pushing and i see plenty of their products on the roads.

I am going to enjoy seeing the big names falling over themselves trying to stem the tide with their overpriced but mediocre offerings.

I think so too, but it would still be better to pay a premium for a Haval standard of spec, I am hoping what we gain out this is at least all manufacturers understanding that the price of the car should be reflective of the spec, not just expensive with nothing to show for it.I think once they have a proper market share they might up their prices. And then we will be back to square one with everyone selling expensive cars
