Three smartphones under R5,000

The amount of people that care about Snapseed... Photomator had 4 updates in this month alone. How about Snapseed?
They may even do FNB faster.

Or you are trying to say that the iPhone will smoke everything, as long as you don’t use certain apps and look away?

Then I’m in agreement.

It’s a bit like saying I have the fastest car in the world, if we ignore every other faster car … but if it helps you sleep, cool I guess?

Ah Wondershare. Another scam company...
Ah …

So you can’t use Snapseed, Filmora, FNB, Alexa? So anything faster on an Android must be excluded from a test?

Aren’t you embarrassed to say these things publicly? Do you believe them or?

So @backstreetboy when you get the phone, do you read the spec sheet and then decide to make that high priority or ignore it?

So if you read that the iPhone 15 Pro is 187g - does that automatically mean any phone higher or lower is 'wrong' until the iPhone 16 Pro weight comes out?
And if you read a 461ppi - then any lower is too low resolution and any higher a waste until Tim tells you & releases higher?
Is the best battery size in your mind 3274mah - and Apple got it spot on?

Still waiting for your battery life screenshot. Couldn't find one off X / Twitter?
I replied that I had no idea what you're talking about .

I recall saying that I had the same error and then you couldn't handle it and said I lied / stole / cheated or something ?
I even recall you said I didn't have an iPhone ? And then I bought one to troll you specifically ?

You have said some really odd things, come to think of it .

Lol you're just deflecting as usual.

Tell me?

Speaking of weird things you say, I remember how you loved benchmarks … and then real world … and back to benchmarks … and real world. I think you were trolling me ;)

And then battery capacity and then efficiency and then hours … and it was funny to see you choose based on what you wanted to show.

Still makes me laugh. Such good times

Is being a smartass and keyboard warrior the same thing?

Some people always know better it seems.

I’ve yet to meet someone IRL that got an iPhone & called it the "worst phone ever" :(
I think it comes down to expectations, experience and mindset.

The things I’ve been told about are incredible - so it’s a bit disappointing to realise that most of it is quite hyped. Then obviously coming from a high end Android means many things are a bit slower or worse on the iPhone. I guess it ties in with expectation.

And then I haven’t mastered the ignoring thing or pretending that bugs are features etc

I have met a few and they have Macbooks so it's really odd, thought that if you had a macbook you'd be wrapped in the fine Apple glow.

Doesn't matter you should be doing best practices any way regardless of CPU, better CPU is just masking the underlining problem. My previous LG was exceptional in that I could use the phone, once in a while there would be a pop up, letting me know you aren't using these apps, it is time to restart the phone ect. I am sure other brands have something similar.

You don't need a snapdragon elite or M1 chip to have a functional phone, your productivity isn't going to remarkably dip with a lesser chip, getting the next best thing, is utterly daft. I pity this generation, my generation weren't as wasteful, you used something until it was no longer feasible to continue using it, just because something is older or "slower" it out lived its usefulness, I shudder at the thought that people have been brainwashed into disposable tech consumerism for the next shinny thing............ "shudder".........
Each to their own I suppose, and by the way I was not implying you need to chase the latest tech and treat tech as disposable. My current phone is a Poco F2 Pro I have had for 4 years now and it still runs as new. I have no plans to upgrade as I dont need to, it had one of the best processors (if not the best android) at the time. That is what I am implying, I would rather sacrifice on the camera and screen (I'll admit it isnt the best but still perfectly decent) and have a fast phone. I don't get the push back here? No need to always buy the most expensive latest tech, just focus on the features that are important to you.

The push back as you called it, with regards to your opinion that you feel the CPU in these devices aren't good enough because it will slow down. I was pointing out the CPU isn't the problem the end user is the problem. It isn't symbian os, it is a fully functioning OS that collects garbage as much as a desktop windows PC does. A phone has finite resources, and you suggested adding a better cpu will fix the problem, I pointed out it is just masking the problem in the end.

There is a point of diminishing returns, and to be honest you don't need a deca core CPU, it is all the adware and bloatware companies shove onto their devices that is a problem and improper use of their devices in general that leads to the most problems user face.

Utterly ridiculous, throwing more memory and processing power without addressing the underling problem, recommended min ram for android in 2024 is 8gig ? TF When did android become such a bloated piece of shyte that makes windows or chrome look tame with regards to memory usage............
