Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter

hi

does anyone know where I can get an adapter like this for a decent price? I see the Apple one is about R600, although I did find one for R400 on gumtree.

How would one go about finding the cheaper brand names?

Done a bit of googling but not much luck!

I'm even prepared to take a Thunderbolt to USB Hub & Ethernet (all-in-one) like this but nor over a grand!!

I certainly considered that, but I have 2 USB ports and use both. One for KB and one for Mouse

So kinda stuck with using the thunderbolt port....

if you are willing to wait, go the aliexpress route.. 200 bucks will get you a thunderbolt to ethernet adapter..

came right with one of these from Takealot

They had an unboxed deal, and I had some Discovery Miles so ended up getting it for about R200 instead of R599
