Hopefully people staying away would make these people open their eyes, surely they will think about this next time around?

Now if all of us can just cancel our ADSL lines for 3 months maybe, those prices can come down :p

10-1 will be. Like I said I think (IIRC) that there were 10 000-20 000 tickets set aside for B&I lions supporters at each game.

So they are making R10m-R20m on ticket sales per match:eek:.

So, this game has passed beyond the average South African's reach as well.
Awesome.
Yay.

thing with these tours is that there is always a "sea of red", the last two tours i watched (aus 2001 & nz 2005) the BIL supporters outnumbered the locals as well, its a huge thing in the UK and it doesn't cost that much for them, tickets are pricey (in any currency) but the accomodation is cheap and the booze (most importantly) cheaper. Its one big party for them.

As much as we whine and complain, Loftus is sold out and the coffers are full (granted a few seats were empty in Durbz) but the money is being made and the seats are sold at the increased prices. IMHO they can justify their high prices because this is something that happens once every 12 years, if the seats were empty then i would have a problem. Although I do have a problem for the midweek/tour games, those were poorly supported and that can be blamed solely on the ticket prices!
