Tiger King

Stayed in Philippolis once while driving down to the Western Cape. While having dinner the night we spoke to a few locals and they had crazy story's about John Varty. He was a bit more refined but apparently thought he was part tiger and used women only for breeding. The series probably has some sensationalism but these "tiger people" are a different breed.

The women for breeding part wouldnt be far of. Doc has
3 or 4 wives and runs a sex cult

If the Accents weren't so American I'd put money on it being filmed in Brakpan or Parow.

I was tricked into reading a news article about this. I was dismayed at what I knew afterwards.

Uhm no, I will not be watching the so-called dramatic documentary.

I'm still trying to purge it from my memory.
