When it comes to radio and television, there is very little that Tim Modise has not done or seen since he began his career in broadcasting in 1980. Tim started as a programme assistant for the then Radio 702 and has not looked back ever since. In 1982, he joined Radio Bop as a presenter of a popular music show. However, it was at Metro FM that Tim carved out a niche for himself as one of South Africa’s respected current affairs talk-show hosts, an achievement that earned him a local and international following and numerous awards. Since then, Tim has held a number of senior positions in both the private and public sectors, including being Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee. Tim returns to radio to shift his focus from running a Midrand-based ICT company as CEO and shareholder.
