Battlestar Galactica Reboot

I don't know if I've actually ever watched this show.

To get my teeth into it, where should I start? Seems there are a lot of iterations...

hmmm, I'd like to see more of the War ( there was a mini web series which was quite cool ) and Caprica was actually interesting. Such a huge universe to play in, please don't make it with another take on the same story.
 
I can't believe that its almost been 20 years since the reboot. I prefer that they don't do a reboot but find another way to continue the story.
Going on recent happenings, chances are that it will be another adaptation that divides a fan base.

Agree no need for a third reboot
 
BG is still my all-time fav syfy series, love it more that Blade Runner, Star Wars & Star Trek combined & I've watched and re-watched it so many times.

Fingers crossed this won't be a lemon..

My first instict was to say that it was too soon for a reboot. When I looked at the dates it the suprised me to see the length between the reboot and the original, and how long ago it was since the reboot was made.
I just don't see how they can improve on the reboot unless it's a sequel set years after the event of the reboot.

I wont say no to some more sci fi on tv. The way they have butchered star trek, im keen to see something else

I wasn't a huge star trek fan so I didn't mind the first two seasons of star trek discovery. I stopped watching during the third season, the show got to the point where it wasn't worth watching

With the hope that the something else doesn't get butchered.

You should give the expanse a try if you haven't done so already. The first season was a slog for me but it gets better with every new season. I'm a bit disappointed that they ended it where they did and rather decided to pump millions into the dumpster that was the first season of the wheel of time.

I kept reading good things about the expanse

Tried season1 on 4 diff occasions but couldn't keep going.

I suppose 5th time is the charm, its worth it ?

The first season sets everything up, so you have to struggle through it. I honestly didn't like the first season that much, but appreciated it more after watching the latter seasons.
But if you can't get through it, watch a recap and start from the second season.
