I agree, partially, with Rocket-Boy. I am always quite skeptical of these types of things. You say they all have the Aero theme by default? How then can your machine run faster. I never would've even looked twice at this to be honest, but if you guys think its good, it's good enough for me!

I suspect that Service Pack 3 for XP when released and installed over this version of XP might negate some of the settings.
As Service Pack 3 for XP is apparently coming out the first quarter of next year it may be advisable to wait if you just have a normal version of XP.
One would then have to wait for the next version of Tiny XP I suppose?

I do have a normal version of window ( Windows XP Home SP2 to be exact ) but the reason i installed tinyXP is because "normal" windows wont let me in until i activate it ( doesnt give me 30 days ). And when i do activate it, it tells me im already activated and boots me out again rendering windows useless as this procedure goes on and on until you get gatvol of going further.
Another reason is, when i called the microsoft call centre and explained my problem, they said there must be something wrong with my key and must either do the following:
1 ) Get hold of my laptops manufacturer, who pre-installed it ( but they said im out of warranty and can no longer help ) so that wont help.
2 ) Get a new product key ( cant recall if it had windows cd included ), which was about R850 when i saw on the net
So thats why i chose this ( not that it was actually a choice )

Cannot say I like pre-installed software.
Recently wiped Vista Business off our Notebook to replace it with XP.
Luckily the Vista Licence Key (sticker under laptop) is Ok to use for an XP installation.

Thats easy enough to fix if you still have the issue pm me and i'll explain how the login is corrupt.

what i want to know is will it give you a slight increase in performance compared to the usual xp pro?
how much an increase of performance in % if so (just a ballpark figure).
Also guys im gona format with this hopefully soon, wat is the best free antivirus that takes up the least operating power (i.e. will not make my games lag like norton and kaspersky)

I use Nod32, works well and doesnt do anything to my games, has a 30 day trial but only stops u from updating and continuously scanning all your files etc but you can still scan your hard drive in general

Im sure all of you know already, but Tiny has now released their version of vista. I have not tried it in fear of vista incompatibilities with some of my varsity software.

Can't see why it'll be illegal as long as you have got a valid XP key.
