Anyone know what this is, "To rates clearance certificate fee" (R150)? I see its on the lawyers latest statement - I asked them - but didn't get a response.
I'm assuming its to make sure the current owners Rates and Taxes are up to date?
In PE that costs only R60.00
It is to get a certificate from the local municipality that the rates account is in the name of the seller and up to date.
for those of you who don't know already ............. the bluish bnk is approving 100% bonds again across all their homeloan products...starting tomorrow![]()
Are you talking about FNB?
I've asked the seller for a letter and copy of their IDs to get the plans for the house from the council - I finally have this information - but no clue how to get the actual plans, anyone here know?
